Doggy Day Care
We understand your four-legged friend is a valued member of your family and when life gets busy, sometimes you need a helping hand. That’s where we come in! Our daycare centre is based in the gorgeous Chilcomb countryside, with stunning fields on our doorsteps for your dogs to enjoy long walks. We understand each dog is different and with a capacity of up to 15 dogs we are able to ensure we customise each day to fit the needs of each dog.
Between walks, enrichment and tailored 1-1 time you can ensure your pooch is having a ball. Open 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) our daycare runs from 8-4:30, this includes collection and drop off from your home.
If your pup is constantly on the go, they can make the most out of our main play-room and outside area, or if it’s nap time they can curl up on one of our sofas or take some time out in our quiet room.
Come rain or shine we understand the stresses and demands of day-to-day life and strive to help your four legged friend get the company and socialisation that they deserve.
Free Collection Service
Included in the price of our doggy day care is a free collection and drop off service. This is provided to all households in SO22 and SO23 postcodes, and some of SO21 - get in touch to check if we cover your area. All of our drivers have access to one of our modern dog carrying vans, which are all tracked.
Winchester City Council Approved
Happy Hounds are licenced by Winchester City Council Animal Welfare department (Licence No.1718/03361/AINRA). This means you can be confident that we have been assessed and meet (and in most cases exceed) the guidelines set for Doggy Day Care by DEFRA.
Friendly and Professional Staff
Whilst at doggy day care, your dog is being looked after by some of the best animal carers in the industry. All of our dog carers are level 2 qualified, and canine first aid trained; most important they are experienced dog owners themselves, so care for your dog just as you would.
