The Happy Hounds Pre-Christmas Plod In Aid of Dog’s Trust

On a beautiful December morning the Happy Hounds team held a charity Dog Walk for the Dogs Trust. Labelled the ‘Pre-Christmas Plod’, we hosted many of our four legged clients (and their owners), along with friends and family. With teas and coffees kindly provided by cafe-xpresso (http://www.cafe-xpresso.co.uk), and with plenty of bacon butties, mince pies, and mulled wine, we set off for a walk in the South Downs.

All the proceeds for the day that were raised went to the Dogs Trust, and in particular the local adoption centre in Salisbury. We were also lucky enough to be provided with dog food and treats to sell on the day by our stockists Lily’s Kitchen (https://www.lilyskitchen.co.uk) and Pooch & Mutt (http://www.poochandmutt.com), along with home made Christmas Wreaths from Yorkshire.

In the end we raised a total of £400, so thank you to everyone who donated. We will keep you posted when we go to the Salisbury adoption centre to hand over the cheque, and tour the premises.
