Doggy Day Care Centre Opening

Happy Hounds recently celebrated the opening of our new doggy day care centre. The centre which is set within an old stables in Chilcomb; Winchester, has been extensively renovated to include a dog food shop, as well as a fully licensed doggy day care centre. Steve Brine MP for Winchester opened the centre, along with lots of our clients, friends, and family.

Work began on the barn in January, all of which was carried out by local Winchester businesses. The hard work by all involved really shows, and the final result is a safe an hygienic environment for dogs to play each day they are with Happy Hounds.

The Happy Hounds centre which was approved by animal welfare and granted a licence by Winchester City Council in March, making it one of the few fully licensed doggy day care centres in Hampshire.

As well as providing a space for doggy day care, the Happy Hounds centre also features a dog food shop, selling a wide range of natural and organic dog food products. Brands stocked in the Happy Hounds shop include Lily’s KitchenPooch & MuttOrijen, and Nutriment Raw Food.
